Teara has lived with sickle cell disease for 40 years. Her journey has included pain, uncertainty, treatment decisions, and the courage to keep moving forward. Today, her story is part of Warriors Without Limits, a campaign that helps SCA raise awareness and support for sickle cell warriors and families facing life-changing moments. Teara’s journey reminds us that treatment is only one part of the story. Warriors also need care, connection, education, resources, and a community that does not let them face the hardest moments alone.
